TV Tuner Notebooks: Watch TV on Your Notebook Computer

TV tuner notebooks allow you to turn your notebook computer into a television with the click of a mouse. Watch, record, and replay television shows on your notebook computer. Notebook TV tuners even allow you to pause live TV shows and then pick-up right where you left off, similiar to TiVo technology. A TV tuner notebook lets you record one TV show while watching another pre-recorded program. You can also watch live TV while recording a different station as long as you're watching an analog program and recording a digital program or vice versa. You can receive free channels on TV tuner notebooks as long as you have the proper antenna. It's just like watching on a standard television that doesn't have cable hooked up. Analog cable, digital cable, and satellite channels require a monthly subscription through your service provider and the proper hardware(i.e. cables, set-top box for digital/satellite, etc). Notebook requirements generally include a minimum of 1 GB RAM and a 2.0 GHz or faster processor.
